Cristian Mena, during the last years, has focused his professional practice in the tax advisory to wealthy individuals and Family Office.  He has participated in reorganizations of family businesses and protocols.  Within his practice also highlights the advice to international and local financial institutions.

He actively gives tax advice to companies of different areas, such as insurance companies, civil works and real estate.

He has developed a successful career, with more than 20 years of experience in tax matters. During his professional development, he has been Partner of different Law Firms, such as Santander, Fresno, Mena & Cía., Recabarren & Asociados.

He has worked as a tax lawyer at Vial & Palma, KPMG Legal and Tax Services and was Manager of the Tax Division of Ernst & Young Chile.  He frequently participates as guest speaker at different national and international Conferences, in matters of tax contingency.

Member of the Tax Commission of the Chilean Law Chamber and of the Legal Committee of the National Chamber of Commerce, partner of Aida-Chile and referee of the National Arbitration Center of Chile.  Since 2012, Professor of the Diploma of Law of Insurance for Lawyers at Universidad de Los Andes and professor of the Diploma and Magister in Tax Planning at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
