Cristian Mena, during the last years, has focused his professional practice in the tax advisory to wealthy individuals and Family Office.  He has participated in reorganizations of family businesses and protocols.  Within his practice also highlights the advice to international and local financial institutions.

He actively gives tax advice to companies of different areas, such as insurance companies, civil works and real estate.

He has developed a successful career, with more than 20 years of experience in tax matters. During his professional development, he has been Partner of different Law Firms, such as Santander, Fresno, Mena & Cía., Recabarren & Asociados.

He has worked as a tax lawyer at Vial & Palma, KPMG Legal and Tax Services and was Manager of the Tax Division of Ernst & Young Chile.  He frequently participates as guest speaker at different national and international Conferences, in matters of tax contingency.

Member of the Tax Commission of the Chilean Law Chamber and of the Legal Committee of the National Chamber of Commerce, partner of Aida-Chile and referee of the National Arbitration Center of Chile.  Since 2012, Professor of the Diploma of Law of Insurance for Lawyers at Universidad de Los Andes and professor of the Diploma and Magister in Tax Planning at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Andrés Alessandri has focused his professional practice in tax advisory to companies of various fields, such as Insurance Companies, Investment Funds, Building Companies, Real Estate and Family Office.

Additionally, he has participated in processes of business restructuring and buying / selling companies.

He is Lawyer at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with Magister (LLM) in Tax Law from the same university.

He is currently pursuing a Master in Financial Management at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.

Prior to Mena Alessandri, he was lawyer and Partner of Recabarren & Asociados (2014-2017). Previously, lawyer in Labbé, Ovalle, Mena, Guglielmetti & Lackington (2012 – 2014),  Larraín Rencoret & Urzúa (2010 – 2011) and Larraín y Asociados (2008).

In the academic area, he has been a Professor of the Master of Tax Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and of various specialized courses in tax matters.

Evelyn has focused her professional practice on accounting and tax advisory. She has a long professional career, with solid knowledge in accounting and tax matters, advising a large number of companies, both national and international.

Prior to joining Mena Alessandri & Asociados, she served at Langton Clarke Ltda., Chile representative of Coopers & Lybrand and Arthur Andersen & Co.  Previously at Holding Telex – Chile S.A. Texcom S.A., a company with overseas operations in the telecommunications area, serving as Internal Auditor and General Accountant, and partner at H&L Auditores Consultores SpA.

Eduardo has more than 28 years of professional experience, focusing his practice on accounting matters, in a wide variety of productive and service companies, both local and internationally.

Accountant and Auditor at the Professional Institute DUOC UC and Postgraduate in Tax Management, Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana.  In addition, with Diplomas in Management of Small and Medium Enterprises PYME-UC and Labor Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Prior to joining Mena Alessandri & Asociados, he has worked in various areas in the accounting departments of Compañía Molinera San Cristóbal S.A.,  La Araucana, Caja de Compensación, Compañía de Leasing Tattersall S.A.,  Agrozzi S.A. (Holding Companies Carozzi S.A.), Telex Chile S.A. and partner in H&L Auditores Consultores SpA.

Oscar has more than 20 years of professional experience, focusing his practice on accounting matters.

Accountant and Auditor at INACAP, Diploma in Tax Management and Planning at Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana and Diploma in International Accounting, under IFRS standards at Universidad de Santiago de Chile.

Prior to joining Mena Alessandri & Asociados, he worked for more than 20 years in accounting departments and partner at H&L Auditores Consultores SpA.

María has vast experience in accounting, tax and compliance matters for private companies (national and international), leading teams of professionals oriented to the critical processes of the Client.

Public Accountant and Auditor of the Universidad de Santiago de Chile, Diploma in Tax Analysis and Planning from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Diploma at IFRS Universidad de Santiago de Chile.

Prior to the formation of Mena Alessandri Abogados, she successfully served at Langton Clarke Ltda., Representative in Chile of Coopers & Lybrand and Arthur Andersen & Co., at TMF Group Chile Ltda.  and H&L Auditores Consultores SpA, with the position of Accounting and Tax Manager.

Eliana is Lawyer at Universidad Finis Terrae and English-Spanish Translator at Universidad de Playa Ancha de Ciencias de la Educación (Uplaced).  She is in charge of the Foreign Investment Area, regarding Compliance and Regulatory of offshore entities.

With more than 15 years of experience in charge of a Family Office.  Prior to joining Mena Alessandri Abogados, Eliana was part of Recabarren & Asociados in the area of ​​Foreign Companies. Previously, she was in charge of the Insurance Area of ​​the Retail Financial Committee.

She was Assistant Professor for three years of the Constitutional Law Course of Professor Alberto Naudon del Río at Universidad Finis Terrae.
